Royal Brit Home Care is a unique Doctor led non-medical in-home care service. Our CEO is a Clinical Dementia Specialist who trains our caregivers in a special program called “My Dreams of Being: Inclusion of Reality.” Our main goal is to provide a high quality of care that is consistent and fits your everyday needs. Quality training, guidance, support, mentoring and valuing team members through inclusion is our main focus to achieve this goal.
Providing stimulating activities with a focus on brain health. Communication is key to a positive relationship and therefore our team are trained to zone in on people’s interests. One of the models of care we follow is called CAR, which stands for Communication, Attitudes and Response.
Ensuring a safe environment and providing light housekeeping including laundry and ironing, making beds and changing linens, dust and vacuum, organize and clean closets, take out the trash, assist with pet care.
Meals & Nutrition
Menu preparation and meal prep focusing on a well-balanced diet and fresh, home cooked meals. From grocery shopping to the meal prep, we have you covered!
One on one transportation to doctor’s appointments, general shopping, grocery shopping, hairdresser/barber appointments, medical testing and outpatient procedures, prescription drop-off and pick-up, religious services, concerts, plays, lectures, special family events like weddings, therapy sessions, etc.
Our trained caregivers provide compassionate assistance with bathing, toileting, incontinence care, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming.
Providing any respite to family caregivers. As a family caregiver, having the ability to take a break makes you a better family caregiver because it can recharge you physically, emotionally and spiritually. Your loved ones also benefit from respite. Introducing a new caregiver provides the mental stimulation that keeps a mind sharp.
All our team, including board members and managers, have completed our training program My Dreams of Being: Inclusion of Reality™. This program was developed by – and is taught by – Dr Daniel Nightingale, Clinical Dementia Specialist and Medical Director at RBHC. This means we deliver a unique support service that separates us from other in home care providers. Our focus on brain health gives us the opportunity to teach the team techniques they can use with clients that improve cognition and independence.
Hospital to Home Transitional Care
Offering one on one transportation from hospital or rehab to home. This is a unique service covering 4 hours of support which includes transportation, pick up prescriptions or groceries, review discharge instructions, ensure safety in the home, prepare a meal, etc. This service also includes a 30 minute phone consultation with Dr. Nightingale. Additional hours can be added as needed.
Hospice Supportive Care
There is sometimes a misunderstanding that hospice provides 24 hour, round the clock care. This is not the case. We can provide trained caregivers to support the hospice team during this difficult transition. We collaborate with hospice to provide true person centered care that supports and meets the holistic needs of both client and family members.

Dr Daniel Nightingale
Dr. Daniel Nightingale is CEO and Medical Director. He is a Clinical Dementia Specialist, practicing in both the United Kingdom and the United States. In addition, he is a Clinical Hypnotherapist in the US and a Clinical Hypno-Psychotherapist in the UK, as well as an Author, Researcher and Educator. Dr. Dan brings years of Clinical, Operational, and executive board level experience to Royal Brit Home Care.
Lynn Bishop is the CFO with a B.S. in Business Administration with an option in Marketing from California State University Long Beach. She brings a wealth of experience including Office Manager, Procurement Agent and Customer Service Supervisor for Boeing, Standard Register and Bank of America. She was responsible for managing multi-million dollar contracts and handling all aspects of accounting and payroll plus has over 20 years of customer service experience.
